Veito Instant Water Heater Models

We've explained each unit in plain language. Find the model closest to your situation below; if you're not sure, message us on WhatsApp and we'll decide together.

Quick Answer

Which Veito instant water heater should I choose?

The right model depends on where you will use it and on the electrical supply in your home. For hot water at several taps: if you have a 380 V three-phase line, Blue S / Blue E (21 kW); on single phase, Flow E9 (9 kW) or Flow E7 (7 kW). For the shower only: Glow or V1200 (8 kW) is enough.

Every model is energy class A, starts at 0.25 bar and carries a 2-year warranty ; average service life is 10 years. If you are unsure, tell us where you will use it and we will choose together.

Veito instant water heaters do not store water; they heat the water passing through them the moment you open the tap. That is why they are small, take up no space and waste no energy keeping water hot. There is only one rule for choosing the right model: where, and at how many outlets, will you use it?

🏢

Whole-Home · Three-Phase

380 V three-phase · 21 kW · multiple outlets · 8 L/min
Ideal for flats with several bathrooms, restaurants, hotels, businesses and industrial premises. Hot water at several points at once — boiler-level comfort. The most popular choice; thanks to its wire heating element it does not build up limescale.

🚿

Whole-Home · Single-Phase

220 V single-phase · 9 / 7 kW · multiple outlets · 4.5 L/min
Ideal for homes where the water pressure isn't especially high. One supply serves several outlets. In the winter months you may need to run the tap a little slower. Wire heating element — no limescale build-up.

🚽

Shower Unit

220 V single-phase · 8 kW · shower head only · 4 L/min
Works inside the shower only, at a single point and with one shower head. It won't feed a basin or the kitchen. Being an older-generation model with a classic heating element, it is affected by limescale.

What is 380 V (three-phase)? It's a three-phase electrical supply; every building put up after the year 2000 has one. For the Blue series a new 4G4 NYM cable has to be run from the consumer unit to the appliance.

What is 220 V (single-phase)? It's the standard household supply. However, for powerful units such as the Flow E9 , a new 3G6 NYM cable must be run from the consumer unit to the appliance. Glow, V1200 and Flow E7 can be run off an existing socket circuit. When we come out to survey, we'll check together which supply your home has. How do I read the cable cross-section? →

Blue S is the family's most powerful and most advanced model. It delivers up to 8 litres of hot water a minute to several taps at the same time : two bathrooms at once, the kitchen, the laundry. For a large family, a flat with several bathrooms, a restaurant, hotel or business it is a solution with the comfort of a boiler — it is our most popular model.

On the display you set the temperature precisely, from 20–60°C, and the Flow series from 20–55°C; ; set 40 and you get 40, no more "hot then cold". The display also shows the ECO energy indicator and, for the first 10 seconds, the flow rate (L/min) . It has a wire heating element — hard water barely affects it and it needs no periodic limescale servicing.

About the 24 kW versionClose

There is also a 24 kW version of the Blue S. Our standard unit is the 21 kW; the 24 kW is mostly used on bespoke project work is preferred. The only difference from 21 kW is the power — cable, fuse and pipework requirements are identical.

⚡ Installation requirements

  • Supply: 380V three-phase line. Present in all buildings put up after 2000.
  • Cable: A new 4G4 NYM is run from the consumer unit to the appliance — an existing socket circuit or old thin cable cannot be used.
  • Breaker: A dedicated 3×32 A (three-pole) breaker in the consumer unit.
  • Water: Connected to the hot and cold outlets; needs at least 0.25 bar of pressure.
  • Location: In place of the boiler, on the capped outlet, on a bathroom wall or an outside wall — just like the real installation photos above.

Its figures are identical to the Blue S, the difference is only in how you operate it. Is your cable suitable? → Cable Guide

The Blue family's rotary-knob, plain sibling of the Blue family. Power, cable, fuse and water performance are the same as the Blue S; the only difference is a classic control knob instead of a digital display. Perfect for "I don't want to fiddle with a screen, let me just turn it and leave it".

The knob position marked with a saucepan symbol gives roughly 42 °C ; that is the ideal everyday setting. It has a wire heating element — no limescale servicing needed.

⚡ Installation requirements

  • Cable: From the consumer unit, 4G4 NYM.
  • Breaker: 3×32 A three-pole breaker.
  • Water: min. 0.25 bar.

Will not run from a socket — a separate 3G6 line from the consumer unit is essential. Is your cable suitable? → Cable Guide

The Flow E9 is the central solution for single-phase (220V) homes: one appliance feeds both the bathroom and the kitchen from the same line. Its slim body takes up no wall space and you set the exact temperature on the digital display.

It is ideal for homes where the water pressure is not very high. In winter, when the mains water is colder, you may need to run the tap a little lower to reach the temperature you want — 9 kW heats about 4.5 litres of water. It has a wire heating element, so it needs no limescale servicing.

Speed-E The appliance sold as is identical to the Flow E9 (same power, same figures). The difference is how it is sold: the Flow E9 comes with installation, the Speed-E is an export product and its installation is chargeable.

⚡ Installation requirements

  • Supply: Standard 220V household supply — but it cannot be fed from an existing socket.
  • Cable: A new new 3G6 NYM (live + neutral + earth, 6 mm² per core) from the consumer unit to the appliance is essential.
  • Breaker: A dedicated 40 A breaker.
  • Water: min. 0.25 bar; a flow of at least 3 litres a minute is needed for it to switch on.

✅ For those who cannot run a separate line: it can be spurred off an existing socket circuit. Is your cable suitable? → Cable Guide

The Flow E7 has the same slim body as the Flow E9 ; the difference is its power — 7 kW. Its real advantage is ease of installation: it can be fed from an existing socket circuit, with no need to run a new line from the consumer unit. It is the most practical solution for rented flats, holiday homes and anywhere the electrical installation cannot be touched.

You set the exact temperature on the digital display. At 7 kW it heats about 4 litres of water a minute; it is ideal for homes where the water pressure is not high. It has a wire heating element, so it needs no limescale servicing.

⚡ Installation requirements

  • Supply: Standard 220V household supply.
  • Cable: 3G2.5 NYM — if a suitable socket circuit exists it can be spurred off it; a separate line is not compulsory.
  • Breaker: 32 A breaker.
  • Water: min. 0.25 bar.

The shower set is included; you do not need to buy a head separately. Is your cable suitable? → Cable Guide

The replacement for the discontinued V1100 — shower-type model. It is fitted directly inside the shower and supplies hot water to that shower only — it does not feed the basin or the kitchen. Inside the box you will find the shower head and hose.

Palm-sized (1.7 kg) with three power steps: in summer you turn it down to step 1 and it barely uses electricity, in winter you turn it up to step 3. The most economical answer for "I just want hot water in my shower, keep it affordable".

⚠ Limescale warning: Glow, V1200 and V1100 the older generation of conventional heating elements ; these three models are affected by hard water. All other Veito models (Blue and Flow series) use wire elements and do not scale up.

⚡ Installation requirements

  • Supply: Standard 220V household supply.
  • Cable: 3G2.5 NYM — if there is a suitable circuit in the bathroom it can be spurred off it.
  • Breaker: 32 A breaker.
  • Location: Fitted inside the shower cubicle, high enough to stay dry.
  • Note: For a basin or a kitchen it is not suitable — look at the Flow series for that.

The flow knob underneath anticlockwise opens fully Is your cable suitable? → Cable Guide

Our shower unit — a shower head and hose come in the box, so you do not need to buy a head separately. It is fitted directly inside the shower and works in that shower only; it does not feed the basin or the kitchen.

8 kW with three power steps; it heats around 4 litres a minute. The flow knob underneath the body is found only on the V1200 and must be opened fully anticlockwise — if it is left half open the water runs weak. In use it is almost the same appliance as the Glow, the difference being the body size; it is also sold as "Lux".

⚠ Limescale warning: V1200 uses an older-generation conventional heating elementand is affected by hard water. Service calls for this model are usually chargeable.

⚡ Installation requirements

  • Supply: Standard 220V household supply.
  • Cable: 3G2.5 NYM.
  • Breaker: 32 A breaker.
  • Location: Fitted inside the shower together with the shower set.

How cable is written: 3G2,5 = 3 cores × 2.5 mm² (live + neutral + earth) · 3G6 = 3 cores × 6 mm² · 4G4 = 4 cores × 4 mm² (3 phases + earth). For details see the Cable Guide. Protection rating: IP24 = protected against splashing water from any direction; IP25 = protected against low-pressure water jets — both are suitable for use in a bathroom. Temperature: The Blue series sets the temperature precisely, from 20–60°C, and the Flow series from 20–55°C; the Glow and V1200 use three power levels instead of a digital temperature setting. Every model is A energy class, minimum operating pressure 0.25 bar, manufacturer's warranty 2 years.

So which one should I buy?

  • 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
Large household, several bathrooms, simultaneous use: Blue S. First, though, we need to check whether you have a three-phase supply.
  • 🏪
Shop, business, heavy water use: Again the Blue S is what we'd recommend. Our standard unit is the 21 kW; the 24 kW version is mostly used for bespoke project work .
  • 🏠
Standard pressure and flow, an ordinary home: If you can't have a separate circuit run, the Flow E7 runs off a socket, so that's the one . If you want more power and can have a dedicated circuit run from the consumer unit, go for the Flow E9 (the E9 won't run off a socket — a dedicated circuit is essential).
  • 🚿
Shower only, rental or holiday flat: Glow or V1200 — practically the same unit; both come with a shower head and hose, mount inside the shower and cost little to run.
  • 🔌
"Is my existing cable enough?" This is the question we are asked most. Cable Guide page explains with pictures how to identify your cable; if you are unsure, send us a photo of the cable end on WhatsApp and we will look at it.
  • 🤝
Still can't decide? Don't wrestle with it — send us a WhatsApp message telling us how many of you there are, how many bathrooms, and what supply you have, and we'll tell you honestly which unit is right and most economical. Selling you a bigger unit than you need doesn't help us either.

Let's work out which unit suits you

One call or one message is all it takes to choose the right model.
